Hot Melt Sealant for Insulating Glass Units
Hot Melt is a single-component sealant specifically formulated for the production of insulating glass units (IGUs) with either single or dual sealing systems.
The product is an insulating material based on butyl rubber and proprietary polymers, designed to seal the space between two or more glass panes. It provides an effective moisture barrier and is supplied with certification in accordance with applicable European standards.
Hot Melt is a versatile sealant compatible with all major insulating glass systems and can be applied using standard hot melt extrusion equipment commonly used in IGU manufacturing. It offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, moisture, and extreme temperatures, while providing outstanding adhesion to glass, aluminum, and galvanized steel.
